A flowback operator is a contract professional working on behalf of B.O.S.S LLC on a location between completion and production of the well , Flow back operators are an essential part of the job once the well is completed and production is beginning as they the flowback operator will monitor wellbore pressure , flowback content and equipment . Making sure that the well or wells are flowing and pressures are with in the correct measurements .
Flowback operators manage equipment, manifolds, valves, flares and tanks during drill outs and initial flowback , following all safety regulations , must have a current and valid drivers license , truck and PEC, H2S, Safeland certifications.
What is the work schedule ?
Most flowback operators will spend any where from 50% to 75% of the time on location working 12 hour shifts. Days off will be scheduled with the supervisor on your location .
What tools are needed ?
Most basic tools of the trade are Crescent wrenches in 18" and 24" , Valve bar, hard hat , socket set, steel toed boots, FR clothing shirts and pants or FR coveralls , H2S Monitor .
